  6. Congratulations on your seven months of freedom! Please do what is best for yourself but I would recommend staying close for your first year, although the work may not be as intensive you will always have a quit to protect. It has been a pleasure having you here and watching your success.

Please avail yourself to all the educational materials we have here because knowledge is power. I'm on my phone right now and can't give you links but browse around the site and learn all you can about nicotine addiction. I am a 40 odd year smoker too and quit 5 years ago, you can too! So glad you found us we will help you on this amazing journey.

  16. We cannot become complacent. We are nicotine addicts for life. It is brilliant you are recognizing some warning signs. I am confident you won't be careless! Don't Make Doreen come after you with that frying pan, baby !!!
  17. You are building the foundation to a really wonderful life as well as a nicotine free one. There will still be some growing pains but nothing radical. Just like everybody said, you will get to know the new you and you will just be a deeper, kinder spirit. Your capacity for fun will evolve, do not worry.

  20. I love this book and read it many years ago, don't know about the movie but, the book, Tracks: A Woman's Solo Trek Across 1700 Miles of Australian Outback by Robyn Davidson, is v. beautiful and gave me a sense of the beauty and vastness of Australia.

  23. I can't get Q train on my laptop. Cleared cookies and cache and tried a different browser, no joy. I get the and this site can't be reached message. Using my phone now which is a fiddly nightmare.
  24. So very sorry about the latest Terror. It is all too sad. Nicotine addiction is a fierce foe and you needn't feel shame or embarrassment over struggling with it. We are on your side and you will build a successful quick of this I have no doubt. Please take very good care of yourself and hug your children extra tight.
