  1. Doreen...Wonderful news! Sorry about the treatment she suffered. Some people are just cruel. She will soon forget that though. Were you given a time frame on how long to expect to get the all clear?

  5. Soozie, So happy you didn't smoke. When I was a couple of weeks quit, I came across an empty pack. I must have sat there for 20 minutes sniffing it. The same day, I also discovered an old coffee can used to empty an ashtray into. Yep, I smelled that too which cured me of any cravings I had. Even if you think it is a half SOS, post one. It won't hurt and nobody here will mind. Forget you in a few days? Absolutely not! So, glad you took this to the board. By pushing through struggles like these, your quit is becoming stronger!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
