    Wine Party?

Right Right, but I never know how much is left...What if I run out too soon?
  5. A couple of weeks ago, I went to see a pulmonologist for the first time. He increased my combination inhaler from 100 mcg to 200 mcg. What a difference! Gone is the burning in my throat and chest when I do cardio. Breathing is much much better. Today I did a circuit of upper body weight machines and then 20 minutes on the treadmill walking at 4 mph and medium incline.

    RECIPES

Easy Easy Ice Cream Cake Ingredients 1 cup heavy cream 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar 6 ice cream sandwiches (3.5 ounces each) 1/2 cup chocolate chips, chopped...I prefer shaved chocolate or crushed Oreo's Directions Line an 8½-by-4½-inch loaf pan with a piece of wax paper or parchment, allowing the paper to hang over both long sides. In a large bowl, beat the cream and sugar until stiff peaks form. In the bottom of the pan, arrange 3 of the sandwiches in a single layer, cutting them to fit as necessary. Spread with half the whipped cream. Repeat with the remaining sandwiches and whipped cream. Sprinkle the top of the cake with the chopped chocolate chips. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze until firm, at least 1 hour and up to 1 week. Holding both sides of the paper overhang, lift the cake out of the pan and transfer to a platter. Discard the paper and serve.

    SOS.

Hey Rowly, How are you now? I don't want to diminish your feelings, but the screaming days will be gone long before you realize it. Next time your daughter screaming frustrates you and you feel as if you want to smoke...Turn on the music, pick her up and dance with her. You won't be able to smoke, and the both of you will most likely feel better. Keep us updated on how you are doing. Glad you didn't smoke!

    Wine Party?

or maybe even three. Just realized yesterday that today was Good Friday. Which means listening to teenage boy play aggressive video games all day. It's like a football stadium for video games around here. He may be in the game room in the cellar, but it makes no difference. What happened to good old Pacman and Galaga? Now we have Call of Duty version 145598456362  I am heading to the gym to release a little pre-tension. On the way home, I will make sure I have enough wine for tonight. If I am not in chat by 9 pm, I may have run away to a far away land....
  13. Sorry Sue and hope your little one is on the mend. I'll share my embarrassing shopping with kids story. When my son was about 6, we were in Target and he disappeared. I looked everywhere for him, had a male employee check the men's room. I was a nervous wreck, balling my eyes out. People looked at me like I had 6 heads. They called a code yellow, which is locking all the doors, nobody in or out. Then they called him over the intercom, up to the front he comes walking...he had been sitting on some skateboards or something. I had never been so scared/mortified in my life. I left my full shopping cart and went home, I couldn't stick around. Is this the same Lucas that was sick a couple of weeks ago? He deserves special treats, I think. All the candy he can eat! You deserve a drink :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
