  1. Trish, It's day 3...How are you? Stay active here Trish, after NOPE, it's your best defense against the Nico-monster. We can help you kick his butt!
  2. Has anyone heard from Juan? I was wondering how he was, haven't seen or heard from him lately.
  3. I haven't been to the gym since Sunday. I am going to start doing small workouts at home in the morning on the days I can't get to the gym. Seeing that my new employer needs a little more time to get things rolling, I have today off. Therefore, I will be taking myself to the gym shortly and then power walking through the supermarkets to do grocery shopping. I spent an hour and a half at the gym. It was packed so I stayed in the women's only area. Did every weight machine in there, except for abs. Then I walked as fast as I could without actually running for 35 minutes.

    -11 Hi Betsy!
  12. I could be wrong, but I believe TAC said that is how it works. Using Bing, Quit Smoking Forum is on page 4 and Quit Smoking Message Boarc is on page 3.
  13. Good for you Trish. Can I suggest you start with the pledge each day? If you need help, please reach out.
  14. Oh no so so sorry to hear that Pip! I only use the lockers when I use the machines, for classes I take my bag with me. Don't bother with a purse either, just throw a wristlet that I use as a wallet, which also holds my keys and phone into the bag. Sometimes when looking for an empty locker, I find them being used but with no lock on them. I don't understand that. Anyway, hope your accounts weren't compromised and it all clears up for you.
  15. 1 Thanks Paul :)
  16. I only noticed yesterday, my skin has taken on a different appearance. I was blessed <---sarcasm with slightly ruddy complexion. As the years went on, I noticed it became more and more red. After I quit, it gradually reversed itself, I think it's "normal" now. It was truly unexpected. Now, I will never own blush, but at least I don't have to cover my skin up with all sorts of junk all of the time :) Feel better soon Marti :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
