  15. Well done ricki!! Yes that chocolate addiction....difficult to overcome but doable. You've already proven that by quitting smoking. You are stronger than you give yourself credit for. One day at a time. Health and fitness is a little different in that...with quitting smoking its NOPE. But with eating and exercise...it's more like...bad day....pick yourself up and keep going. That's the key. Fall down 7 times get up 8. Congrats to you also on quitting alcohol. That's awesome!!
  16. Nope nope nope nope nope
  17. Hi dental floss. I remember 11 months into my quit feeling the same way. I think it's the last ditch effort of the addict brain to try to get you to smoke. Unfortunately for the addict you have been through this rodeo before and have all the tools necessary to outsmart it. You are A nosmo warrior and I look forward to celebrating your one year You've got this!
  18. Toni please keep in mind that just because someone is having a bad day or even bad moments in the day doesn't mean that their entire quick journey has been bad . Sometimes we feel that that's the case but in reality, a bad day doesn't mean a bad life. When you were a smoker you were literally living a bad life so just remember that and every time you have horrible days--the worst days of your life-- it always is followed up by great days and empowering days-strong days! tougher than you ever been. so these moments, these Times that are difficult only make you stronger You are a warrior in training and you're doing fantastic
  19. Thank you Lisa...same to you!! Thanks everyone!
  20. quitting smoking has reversed the signs of aging!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
