  2. okay my fellow runner friends..... 2 weeks ago...I felt an ouch in my right hip....don't remember specifically hurting it but it felt "bruised" Started to feel better then 2 days ago....while I was running....I experienced excruciating pain again...I didn't think I could take another step but I kept on running. I was so afraid to stop at this point. I thought if I started walking I wouldn't make it home...so I ran. It actually started to feel better while on that run... Sunday I rested the body..and yesterday when I ran again...there was that pain again. Not as bad....but still. What is it????? Anybody else experience it? I hate going to doctors Today...it still feels tender when I touch the hip but I'm not limping or in any real pain...just so weird.

  7. Tore mine too a few years ago...burpees don't hurt my knees....more likely the back I'm worried about. but...I do have to say...I am behind on the burpee challenge. Seems when I'm in exercise class..I am like wonder woman...I can do Burpees like a champ. When I get home??? I'm like 90 years old. So strange. But....I will not give up. I'll do them tonight and i'll be on day 8

  10. I'm late!! Jenny....I cannot tell you enough how instrumental you were in my own quit. You've been with me since day one. You are one of the most kindest, loyal, supportive people I know. I feel so lucky to know ya! Congrats on 3 years sister!!
  11. Did someone mention Toys and boobs? Hi Mike.....can't stay away...can you? Like Petra said in the other thread...this place is special. We are all connected because of our common desire to quit and stay quit. Out of this comes a special kind of bond. It's priceless. Sometimes we go away for a while. Sometimes we lurk. Sometimes we post. It's all good. Had no doubt about your not smoking. You already know what relapse tastes like. Poop. Good to see ya penguin

The beauty you see around you, is your beauty. To change your world you must change yourself. See the best in others and you will be your best.Give to others, and you give to yourself. Appreciate beauty, and you will be beautiful. Admire creativity, and you will be creative.Love and you will be loved. Seek to understand, and you will be understood. About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
