  5. YAY!! good job!! That's how it's done! #JulesRules!
  6. and....12 days into your quit...it's not really a smoke your body wants. Your brain is associating smoking with "feel good feelings" that you felt when you relieved yourself of the withdraw symptoms. Remember HALT Hungry Angry Lonely Tired Sleep, deep breathe...take a long walk or run if you can...drink a cold glass of water...lots of it
  7. Jules! This crave will pass whether you smoke or not....it will pass. But by not smoking...each time you crave or feel like you are going crazy....each time you smash it...you become stronger and the addiction becomes weaker. If you smoke...back to square one. Hang in there, you are doing great!
  8. that's exactly it Feely. I remember once I took smoking off the table...my quit was doable. No matter what...I wasn't going to smoke. Not an option. Pick something else but smoking is just not an option.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
