  5. first I want to slap ya... then I want to hug ya.. Don't you dare give up on quitting Trish....that's' not an option...NOPE!! But for the love of all good honey......stop torturing yourself...for the last time! The only reason you smoked is because you still have a belief somewhere inside of you that the cigarette can do something FOR you....it doesn't. You still have some UN-brainwashing to do...so read and read and read all the literature provided here and MQ's quit blog and Joel's library....over and over and over again.....over and over again...over again...over again...i read them and listen to Joel so many times I wanted to punch him in the face....but I listened...I read..I watched.... over and over.....slogans....No such thing as one cigarette, 1 is too many...1000 not enough...Smoking is not an option...NOPE....they work...but they must be a part of your every day self talk.... you can do this Trish! Put out that last cigarette now...and do it! xoxoxoxo

  13. i had a trigger tonight...after my dogs were viciously attacked. After the adrenaline calmed down...I was looking for my "reward" this disease never goes away....but it's one craving in...I would say...in 3 months...and that one was very mild. I'll take the occasional crave any day over every 20 minutes last smoking dream was in my first 6 months

  15. sorry I wasn't here! Marti this will pass...they always do Good for you....for posting!! xo
  16. Really they attacked the puppy who had the cone on his head, thank god and tucker was defending him. It was a scary mess. Tom usually goes earlier when there's nobody there but waited for me. I'm bad luck
  17. Tucker has improved 100% (thank you Lisa) It's a nice day so I went with my husband to to woods he takes them every day without incident. He likes to walk them there because they can roam without a leash. They are well behaved and friendly. As we were about done with the walk....down the path barreling towards us are 2 fast and furious pit bulls. They chased and attacked both of my dogs....the puppy was crying...I was crying....my husband was going crazy...the owner was beside himself but my husband is not as forgiving as me. To say the least. Im walking home as I write this and my heart is still pounding. Dogs were not hurt from what I can see. What the ****????
  18. Resistance tends to strengthen the energies it attempts to oppose by giving them power and energy to work against.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
