it's not WTF...its yahoo!!! Normal for you to feel empowered one minute...and bam! Suddenly feeling like this...but when you really take an honest look at your quit...you will notice that it's been a while since you felt like this, which means it's becoming less frequent. Not only that....overcoming this (which you will) is going to make you stronger! Trust me.... Can't wait to celebrate 5 months with ya Jess! You are doing fantastic!

Why did you quit, what have you gained?
babs609 replied to Still winning's topic in Quit Smoking Discussions
I quit because I was sick and tired of the struggle....tired of it beating me down. Tired of being controlled by the killer..tired of being a slave to the addiction Gain? about 30 lbs on top of 30 lbs already that I struggled with on and off all my life..but that's ok because that was my final weight gain. I no longer diet...I live a healthy lifestyle...something I could never say before I quit..no matter how many times I lost weight and promised myself I would never gain weight again--it was worth the weight gain for me because it's never coming back. (I only gained weight because I was substituting cigarettes with food--that's ok for the first week or 2 but after that...find another substitute that is healthy) Confidence is through the roof...I am a different person now...happier and braver than ever. :) Quitting smoking has taught me that fear is an illusion...a made up fantasy in our own heads which stops us from doing things we want or need to. Realizing this fact about quitting smoking has made me realize it in all areas of my life. Fear is BS and really just prevents us from LIVING to our fullest potential. Quitting smoking has taught me, thru this forum...that support groups do work and it's smart and courageous to turn to others for help. Weakness is believing you can do it on your own...and then NOT doing it..sticking your head in the sand again...and continue on the path of self destruction. That's cowardly. Thats' what keeps you stuck in your own nightmare as a smoker. Can't say enough about it, really.....quitting smoking is the best thing I've ever done (besides my babies of course) -
definitely NOPE!! I love breathing

2 of the bras were in a pile of clean clothes i had on the bed. It's the spare room and he never goes in there. It's where I get dressed and keep my clothes...kind of my hangout. My computer is in there..I keep it neat and picked up. The other bra was draped over the hamper cause I wore it and it was damp from the workout so i hung it there, went to work , and shut the door. He opened the door. He never bothered with that room before, or my stuff.... Don't know why now suddenly. Nothing in the house changed recently. He's as spoiled as ever with a lot of attention, gets walked ever day, fed well, snacks...huge huge huge basket of toys and bones. he's a brat

neither do I...but I have a feeling if a group do it together ...we have to post every day that we did it. Accountability. I know I don't want to miss a day when I can't post I did it and everyone else is doing it. Come on Lisa....it will be fun. Go out of your norm...it's only 30 days. We will post and cry together!! Then celebrate results and feeling accomplished!!

your butt! no.... your abs silly....around your waist....get measuring tape and measure

i got the kitchen part covered ava...lol no excuses do it! Besides...when you are in a challenge like this or training for a race....it tends to keep you honest in the kitchen too....because you wouldn't want to sabotage all your hard work. Even though the diet is more instrumental in weight loss...the exercise and diet go hand in hand to keep things flowing as they should :) Come on sis..commit!

yep! that's exactly it :) take pics of your abs and measurements before you start! (for yourself not to post..lol..unless you want to ;) )

yay!!! another taker! This is exciting! :) Yes...10 sec plank...doesn't start off bad. Increases every day but the most you have to do is 2 min. Planking can be done any way you want...on both elbows, one elbow, on your hands in push up position...doesn't matter as long as you keep your core tight. I am starting Saturday, March 7th but Tracey is starting today. Yay Marti!!!!! Let's go girl!!
