  3. It's a rainy day and a Monday here. And I feel fine.
  4. No worries. I don't offend easily. I do however jump at the chance to tell people that I don't smoke anymore. It's a point of pride. Speaking of pride...Tiffany, doingitthistime, and all quitters who have recently taken the initiative and quit smoking...Congratulations, you're doing a great thing and should be proud of yourselves.

  12. Nope. I quit smoking and started working out again, but my endurance levels are far from Ironman standards at this point. Those are some highly trained athletes.

  20. That is awesome. Good going Sam and congratulations to the proud grandmother.
  21. I still have that odd moment from time-to-time where I think a cigarette would be nice. There's no harm in a passing thought so long as you don't act on it. An addicted mind with all of its well-worn neural pathways is something that has to be retrained over time. With patience and commitment the new ways become normal, until then, you just keep plugging away.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
