  11. Yeah in all my quits I've never had a cough but the longest I've gone as a smoker is about two years before stopping for several months. My husband had a bit of coughing after his last quit - and he had been smoking for a 20 years or so - It sounds like it may vary a bit from individual to individual.

  19. It is only 9am here only been up for 3 hours - but surprisingly I am feeling really strong today. Not really craving at all! Hope I can just keep myself busy and the rest of the day will be just as breezy! :) Thank you for asking!

  21. My marathon is in June, so I should be pretty well recovered. I have a half marathon the weekend after next though. I'll tell you I have done A LOT of running and triathlon training while being a smoker... but until I recently relapsed... This training has been significantly easier without the "monkey on my back"

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
