  1. Colleen, that's really amazing!! A whole year, calls for a big celebration :)
  2. Haha, I hope it doesn't. I really do. I'm just gonna cling to that hope. Different Engine? I just don't want to spend money on stuff I might or might not be able to play right now. P.S. Ginger candy- ginger throat drops/lozenges?

  4. Yeah, ever since I went veggie I noticed I actually started cooking and trying different more interesting meals. As a carnist you usually settle for the ''Easy'' route, but in my experience (meat/wheat free) the more limited you are the more creative you have to get which results in only awesome things!

    The Last Game

That I can't remember, but we kindly offered our seats (we were leaving already) to a couple in a restaurant this WE. That probably doesn't even count as a good deed :D When was the last time you picked up a new hobby?

  11. It's ok WYE and thanks. To be completely honest - I'm way too often bordering pescotarian (which is what I was before), it's easy and natural to say no to meat, it is no less than disgusting to me, but with fish/seafood it has never been so. Plus it's healthy (well, as healthy as it can be these days). I'm a terrible person for saying this, I know.

  19. Not sure what you mean with seasonal, don't think so. Not since I live here at least (which is for the paast 5 years or so). The summers are incredibly hot lately 30-37C at times, and that's the only extreme. It cycles through really hot days and stormy nights. This winter it snowed (just a bit) once during the night in .. March? I know I haven't experienced a real spring/winter in years, so it's not that different, the English weather is a bit more mild :)
  20. I don't dare to due to motion sickness :/ But then there will be Destiny and .. ginger candy? :D
  21. @Wye, it's been a while for you huh? Yeah I experienced a similar thing with QSMB in the beginning, took up all my free time. :)
  22. <-- This! Haha. I imagined you having a deeper/more rough voice. :D
  23. Julie, that's amazing, be proud of yourself!
  24. Perfectionism. I often refrain from doing ''x'' until it's the right time/mood/situation/etc. and then I give it my all. Needless to say, I probably get less done that way than the average person. It's like all or nothing. One good example is trophies. I just do it for my own sense of completion, and I have started several new PSN accounts for I started ''slacking off'' and my completion rate went down. I just need that peace of mind I get from a platinum poping up.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
