  11. A lot of working out today. I just can't smoke, sorry. NOPE :D
  12. What a nice topic. It emanates confidence, happiness and freedom. Wonderful!
  13. Well done! Just a little bit more and the month is in the pocket :)
  14. Congratulations, Tiffany! Appreciate your posts and the positive attitude you have. Keep going!
  15. Suddenly coughed up some stuff today again. Ewww. Definitely NOPE for me.
  16. Good job, SanDar. Yeah, we can't runaway from all the stress in our lives. Even being born is stress to us, lol :D We just need to face those situations as non-smokers, who we already are.
  17. Hey, Roland! It's a wonderful decision on your side. To my mind two things are very important at the early stages of the quit: education (read as much as you can about all the processes after nicotine leaves your body) and positive attitude (with your quit you don't lose anything, just gaining a lot of wonderful sensations and you health back). Stay positive, stay free and post here if you hit the rough patch. Welcome!
  18. I left alone my mind was blank... Oh, sorry.
  19. Awesome job, Marti! Keep going and don't stop with all your helpful insight! Congrats!
  20. Congratulations from the bottom of my heart! What a nice quit with a constant support of the newbies. Really happy for you!
  21. Now that's a quit! Congratulations!
  22. Man, this tea tastes good. Don't want to lose this sense again, so NOPE! :)
  23. It will be interesting to know what happens to your friend. I hope she won't start smoking again. And yeah, I think all of us who tried to quit previously know that feeling when you relapse. It's horrible. I don't want to go through that again.
  24. Welcome, NayNay! I'm new myself. But it already feels like home. A lot of support here. :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
