You guys certainly covered the classics - special effects were lacking back then but I will always remember the first time David changed in American Wearwolf in London - that was a pinnacle moment in cinematography it set a great precedence for all films after it. Freddie, Jason, Michael - all entertaining nothing scary about them - now back in the day you could scare yourself after reading Salem's Lot looking out your bedroom window at night, or waiting for Candyman to show up-scaring yourself is always fun - walk to your room but run the last few steps and jump in bed just in case etc.. we have all done that and scaring other people is just plain fun.. I enjoy all the movies - I don't find any scary but clowns freak the hell out of me - right down to the one from IT- they might all float Ralphy Boy but I hate those damn clowns.
