  3. This is very true - and I'm not talking 2 left feet either! TPBM is honest to a fault
  4. Yeah we were all motivated alright for stupidity's sake - only a smoker or former smoker can get a match to stay lit in a blizzard, rain storm or worse long enough to light up. What great skills we all aquired to teach our kids.... guess it's back to the other important skills to pass on instead like don't hit girls, eat healthy, don't ever smoke etc..

  13. NOPE for me!
  14. I brown the meat first coated with flour - then I add the broth and water onions, paprika, black pepper and 3 or 4 bullion cubes - and let that simmer for about 1 hour or so - then I add in the potatoes and celery because they take longer to cook - at that point I add 2 bay leaves and season a little bit more to taste - after about another hour I do add the frozen mixed veggies and frozen stew veggies - after an hour I add in fresh carrots and fresh green beans. over all I cook the stew for about 7 or 8 hours before I have any so the flavors are better.
  15. After all other fresh veggies added
  16. Perfect on a cold day - Good Old Stew

  24. Congrats on 2 months Rosie - that is just awesome - it does get easier each day - hang in there and reach out or vent as often as you need to that's why everyone is here. Everyday without a puff is a huge victory so reward yourself and be proud so are doing so well.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
