Welcome aboard One -and congrats on getting ready to quit for good this time - you are well ahead of most at this stage and not because you have quit before but because you have identified your triggers and have acknowledged the fact that you may need support as you did with your sobriety -that is what we are here for - to support each other. Anyone had the power to quit when they are ready - this train has many successful quits going from people that were on your shoes not long ago - stay close to the board, post, and read as much as you can. You can do this and we are here to support you. Remember to pledge NOPE everyday - that is a great way to get started here as well and helps to reiterate one day at a time.

Welcome back -seems like you are getting some good advice - what else did you expect - people are here to encourage you not beat you up - congrats on taking another step forward - If you really think you are on auto pilot then it is not a craving you are having ti is a conditioned habit - Smoking is more psychological then people realize - there are some exceptions of course -but a true junkie or addict would not be able to control their behavior as you say when you are just working etc versus driving - it is an excuse or learned behavior if anything it's not a craving and that is the best part about it - yes it sucks that you went back momentarily but at least it was done out of habit and not need - that means it can easily be conquered for good. Keep going forward and be cognizant of your patterns and behaviors - it will make your quit much easier.

  21. TGIF All -its a good day for NOPE (who really misses smoking out in the cold freezing your arse off anyway) NOT ME!! Nothing worse then how much the cold air enhances the stench of smoking on clothes - so gross
