  1. My quit is going great. I hope it continues to go this smooth but if I hit a few snags I'll still power through.
  2. Lace, tell your friend that I was a lurking member on another site for 3 months before I quit. I think reading helped push me to finally go for it

  16. The stress will still be there even if you do smoke. Punching a pillow or screaming like a mad woman will be a better stress reliever than smoking. Stress relief from smoking is all an illusion made up by our addiction and our brainwashed mind. Maybe go for a walk or a drive. You can even flip off random people if it makes you feel better. lol You have come so far. Don't smoke. You know you don't truly want too. If you did, you wouldn't be on a quit smoking board to begin with.

  19. If it were my friends who asked I'd tell them that after seeing my mom have a stroke, the reality of the consequences hit me and I want to reduce my chances of it happening to me. P.s. My mom never smoked a day in her life but I saw the residual effects of a stroke and they aren't pretty.
