  7. In North Carolina, I'v experienced a number of tropical storms and hurricanes. Helene was one of the worst and I was quite a long distance from the center of the storm and it was bad. No damage for me at my place but I was lucky, the damage all across North Carolina and points west and south were horrible. Hurricane Milton which is about to hit Florida sounds just as bad, maybe worse. Lots of low lying areas surrounded by water and very easily innudated by flooding rains and storm surge Hoping for everyone down there to stay safe. This does look bad.
