  7. Nice to hear from you, Jryan. I remember you from the other site and I always liked how you put things into perspective. I quit at age 39 and I share a lot of your fears about not stopping soon enough but we can't change the past. Quitting smoking and staying quit is the best thing a smoker can do for themselves and their loved ones. Glad you are doing well and thanks for the great post.

  9. Room 237 is a really bad place in the 1980 Stephen King movie "The Shining." If you haven't seen it, watch it.

  15. Oh yeah, I'm familiar with The Connells. I listened to them quite a bit back in college. I never saw them in concert but they were definitely a good band
  16. Hope things are ok over there. Things aren't predicted to be as bad here in Raleigh, NC but we are supposed to get some rough weather from Irma. More Johnny Cash (with the Clash's Joe Strummer) covering a Bob Marley classic...

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
