  7. Welcome @catsinnc and congratulations on deciding to quit smoking and on several days smoke free already. You are doing a great thing. Also, congrats to your huband for quitting recently as well. I would really advise getting rid of those hidden 4 cigarettes, maybe flush them down the toilet. It would make for less temptation. Anyway, I don't know much about Chantix but there are many people here who quit that way so I am sure they can give you some great advice. I hope you stick around. There is a lot of good information and support here on this site. It is great to have you here.

  9. You can do this, Michelle.
  10. Welcome back, Michelle. You have tried to quit many times, this time it needs to be your forever quit. Please stick around, lots of support and knowledge you can get here. Just remember, nothing good comes from smoking. It is just a short term illusionn of relief but really it just adds to your stress level by continuing to feed the addiction. Quitting is the best thing you can do long term. Oncce you quit for good, things do get a whole lot better and it is worth the early struggles. You should be able to edit your quit date by clicking your name in the top right navigation (if you are on a laptop or PC), click on "Edit Profile" at the top, and then the screen that appears should show you your quit date. You can edit it there. There is also a tab at the top that says "Ticker" which will show you how to create a new ticker. Hope that helps and hope you stick around. Quitting smoking is definitely doable and something you really need to do, Michelle.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
