Last time I looked, my old brand cost only a little over $5.00 a pack...but I am from North Carolina, home of big tobacco companies like RJ Reynolds and they still have big pull here. Still, when I started smoking in the mid '90's, the price of that brand was about $1.75 a pack. The price will keep going up I'm sure.
