I'm sorry to hear about all that you are going through, Linda, and it is good that you used this place to vent. That is a healthy release and helps to try to put things into perspective. You know that smoking will only make things worse so I'm glad you decided to express your frustrations instead. Your quit is very important and don't ever let anything jeopardize it.
  3. Good job fighting through this and definitely throw those cigarettes away. Flush them down the toilet. I had a similar experience around my 8 month mark after several easy months in my quit. I was very frustrated but craves can creep up on you out of nowhere sometimes. Just remember that the crave will go away and that lighting up a cigarette will just make things a lot worse.
  4. Congratulations on your first year smoke fee, Jet Black! I hope you celebrate a job well done.

Well, the Cubs are out of it. I can't help but think what will happen in the offseason to Ian Happ, Kyle Schwarber, and especially Addison Russell. Happ and Schwarber have always been in trade rumors. I feel Schwarber would probably be much better off with an American League team as a DH and occasional platoon position player. I haven't given up on Happ, though. If he could cut down on his strikeouts, he could be really good. The spousal abuse allegations and subsequent MLB suspension of Addison Russell leads me to believe that he has played his last game as a Cub, and I hope that is the case. As far as I am concerned, he will not be missed. Late season pickups Cole Hammels and Jesse Chavez apparently want to come back next year with the Cubs and I hope that works out. I also hope the Cubs go all in on trying to sign either Manny Machado or Bryce Harper in the offseason. Back to the present day, I guess I'm definitely wanting the Braves to win the World Series now (I've learned here, and on QSMB, not to say that you are "rooting for" or "pulling for" a team as it has a whole different meaning in Australia)
  16. Keep up the great work, DF! You are making it through the roughest days and it gets a lot better.
