  1. Congratulations Sirius! 4 years smoke free is huge!
  2. Congratulations Farmgirl!
  3. You are doing good by preparing in advance for this. I can't add much that hasn't already been said as you have already received some great advice. Remember, you are a non-smoker now and are doing great. Try to be an example to your brother as it may inspire him to follow through on his plans to quit as well. If the temptation to smoke does get strong, reach out to us on the board. I'm confident you'll make it through smoke-free. You are doing great, lml.

  10. Great job in posting that SOS, lml, and great job fighting through those cravings. It is a big deal to successfully fight through a crave successfully and these moments will get easier with time. Remember, a crave is not a command. Keep fighting, things get much better. I'm proud of you.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
