  6. The cravings will always go away as long as you don't light up. They are tough but they don't last forever. Great job in fighting through this.
  7. Good job on posting, Daisy. Yes, those early craves can be tough but they don't last forever. Fight through this. You will only be miserable if you light up. Everytime you fight through a situation like this and don't smoke, your quit grows stronger.
  8. Great job, Farmgirl! Congratulations!
  9. NOPE - Smoking sucks!
  10. Welcome to QuitTrain @Sierra Congratulations on 7 days smoke free!
  11. NOPE - I don't smoke anymore.
  12. Welcome to QuitTrain, Daisywheels. I had numerous short quits as well. The support and knowledge I got at quit smoking support sites like this really helped me stay quit for good. Stick around. There are plenty of people here who will help you along your journey. Remember, a cigarette brings nothing positive to your life. Putting smoking behind you will improve your life is so many ways. You are doing a great thing.
  13. Welcome back, Parsley. As everyone said, take it one day at a time. Commit daily to not take another puff (or NOPE - not one puff ever) and you will have this.

  16. Congratulations Gordo! Half a year smoke free is a great accomplishment!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
