  1. Keep fighting through this, Kate. It can be a tough battle but as long as you don't light up, you got this, and things will get better.
  2. NOPE - smoking sucks!
  3. Great stuff, Kate. Just take it one moment at a time and you will get there. Focus on the positives to quitting - the perceived negatives are only temporary and go away with time.
  4. NOPE! Happy Friday, everybody!

    Hi Guys

Congratulations on 1 year smoke free, Latoya! Welcome to the lido deck!
  6. Welcome, Lilac. Congratulations on quitting smoking. I've made several attempts at quitting before as well, prior to quitting for good. I can tell you that finally putting those nasty cancer sticks behind you for good is a great and empowering thing to do and is definitely worth whatever early struggles you may have. Stick around this site. There is a lot of camaraderie and support here. We've all been where you are at now and yes, quitting is very doable. Read, reach out if you need support, and pledge in the daily NOPE thread. All of these things help greatly.
  7. Congratulations Christa! You are doing great!
  8. NOPE - I don't smoke anymore.
  9. Welcome to QuitTrain, Zoom. Congratulations on 4 days smoke free. As others said, education about nicotine addiction and a strong desire to overcome it is key to a successful quit. Read up on the addiction in the pinned threads and don't be afraid to reach out to the people on this board for support if you are struggling. Many of us have had similar struggles and we can assure you that quitting smoking is very doable and is definitely worth the hard work.
  10. Congratulations Christian! That is an awesome quit!
  11. NOPE - I don't smoke anymore.

  14. That's awesome, Shane! Congratulations!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
