  1. That's so awesome, Phil. I'm really happy for you. Quitting smoking improves your life in so many ways.
  2. NOPE - Not One Puff Ever! Happy Friday, everybody!
  3. Wrong Turn (the original) was quite good. I didn't realize it had that many sequels though. I also liked Final Destination, although I haven't seen Purge. I saw the late '70's horror film Suspiria a few nights ago on TCM of all places...really weird and creepy movie. I've also watched some '80's horror this October - An American Werewolf in London, The Howling, Poltergeist, The Shining, and Hellraiser so far. October is a good movie month.

Same here. I got home from work just in time to catch the first inning. It was something like 7-0 with one out. I don't know why I'm still watching. Yikes.
  5. NOPE - I don't smoke anymore.
  6. Congratulations on 4 years smoke free, @Cbdave I hope you celebrate big today.

Great job fighting through this, Juan. Keep up the great work.
  9. Welcome aboard, @Vivianne You are doing a great thing by quitting smoking. Try to focus on the positives which you will eventually find out far outweigh the early, short-term negatives. There really is nothing at all positive about smoking but a lot of positives to putting smoking behind you for good. Joel Spitzer's videos are definitely worth your time but if you can access Allen Carr's book, "The Easy Way to Quit Smoking", I would also recommend that. It really helped me see smoking in a different way and was a good resource in my quit. Stick close to this site. There is a lot of knowledge, fun, and distractions to help you. It is great to have you here.
  10. I also hope you are having a better day today, Abby. Keep fighting and you are right - smoking will not help at all. Stay strong and keep the quit.
  11. Congratulations MQ! Thanks for all that you do with running this site. Celebrate big.
