  4. Congratulations on 41 hours smoke-free, @Guttie39 In these early days, celebrate each milestone. You may be counting minutes and hours early on (I was) but things to get smoother over time. Temptation was high for most of us early on but you are very capable of fighting through this. It may not feel like it but you are doing a great job. What you are going through is normal for most quitters. Do whatever you have to do as long as you don't light up a cigarette. Keep up the great work and keep the quit.
  5. NOPE - I don't smoke anymore.

  8. Fight through this, Guttie. Your quit will be stronger once you fight through this.
  9. I'm sorry to hear this but you are doing the right thing reaching out for help. The early stages can be really tough but things really do get better. You have done great making it through 16 hours without a cigarette and lighting up now will only throw away a great start. Cigarettes do not relax you, they only feed your addiction to nicotine. The longer you go without smoking, the better things will get. Do not light up. Fight through this. Things will get better. Craves are not a command and they do not last forever. Fight through this. When you fight through a crave like this and win, your quit becomes much stronger.
  10. Happy Birthday bakon

  16. I suppose one could interpret this song as being about Social Distancing.
  17. I'm glad you are doing so well in your quit. If it is going easy for you, enjoy it. Just don't overestimate the addiction. As long as you don't take another puff, you got this.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
