    Hit and Run

I do miss Major League Baseball as it has been sidelined by the Coronavirus. I just started watching Korean Baseball (KBO) in short stints on ESPN as South Korea seems to have the virus somewhat under control and has opened its season yesterday with no fans in the stands with the exception of cheerleaders. It is an odd thing for me to watch but it does remind me how much I miss sports. Korean baseball is a bit different. If anyone is watching this on ESPN, I found this interesting video on baseball in Korea under normal situations. Bat flips, cheer squads, fights, etc. The talent might not be on par with MLB but the passion for the game is impressive.
  9. Congratulations @LadyDraga on your first month smoke free. Keep up the awesome work.
  10. Congratulations AK. You are doing great!
  11. NOPE - I don't smoke anymore.
  12. I had a number of short quit attempts before quitting for good that lasted a few days or a couple of weeks max. I can say from experience that quitting, relapsing, and restarting a quit is torture. Adhering to Never Taking Another Puff (even if it is for 1 day, hour, etc. at a time) is the way to go. You will not regret staying smoke free. Stay strong and remember that nothing positive will come out of a relapse.
  13. Awesome job, @Mac#23 Congratulations!
  14. NOPE - Smoking sucks!
  15. Keep up the great work @AK47 I agree with the posters above. No luck is needed. You just need to remain committed to your quit. Quitting smoking and staying quit is very doable and you are doing the right things early on.
  16. Welcome aboard @Lovecollies You are doing a great thing in quitting smoking. Stick around this site. You'll find plenty of support and knowledge to help you with your quit journey. It is great to have you here.
  17. NOPE - I don't smoke anymore.
  18. Congratulations on 1 month smoke free, Lordy. If you are concerned about these health issues, please consult with your doctor. That is the best advice I can give.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
