  2. You are doing great, Dogbelly. I'm glad things are going well for you in your quit.
  3. Of course you can do this, Kdad. Commit to taking it one day at a time and not smoking each day. Realize that nothing good comes from smoking. They cycle of quitting and relapsing is a tortuous one. I know. I did that too. Quitting for good will give you freedom.

  17. Welcome to the site, @prichy I'm sorry to hear about your relapse. 10 years quit was a great accomplishment. Yes, Coronavirus has impacted so many people in such different ways but smoking will not make anything better. You successfully stopped smoking for 10 years but now is the time to quit for good. You can't fix what happened in the past so don't dwell on it. Just focus on quitting for good. You must have seen some sort of positive in order to go back to lighting up. Please believe that there is nothing positive to be gained from smoking. Please visit the link below that gives you tips as to how to use this site and read up on some quitting resources. I'm sorry for your relapse but you can still quit for good. Stick around this site. There is a lot of knowledge and support here.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
