  2. Covid has really hurt a lot of us when it has come to isolation, loneliness, etc. Still, smoking will not help any of that. If you cave in, you will feel even worse. Fight through this and you will still have your smoke free life going, a life that will become easier and more rewarding with time. Good for you for posting your frustrations, Linda. Please believe that a cigarette will not fix any of this.
  3. Great job tossing those smokes away and keeping the quit. I'm glad you are doing so well in your quit.

  15. Welcome to QuitTrain, blissvixen, and congratulations on how far you have gone with your quit so far. Insomnia can be quite common with quitters in their early stages. There are other side effects that some people experience as well. But you are doing a good thing in quitting. I can't give you advice on heart issues, though. I don't recall experiencing that. I can understand your hesitancy in seeing a doctor during covid but if there is some way to discuss these issues with a medical professional virtually, I would suggest that. Congrats again on your quit. It is good to have you here.
  16. Keep up the great work, Dogbelly. It is normal for thoughts and craves to occur early in a quit. Just remember, a crave, or a thought about smoking, is not a command. You are doing great.
  17. NOPE!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
