  1. Keep the quit, @PeachFuzz The thought of lighting up may be tempting but you will regret it if you give in. Best to fight it and not smoke. It does get easier with time.
  2. Keep up the great work, @Steven Drojensky You are doing great!
  3. Nope
  4. Welcome back Lilley and Ray. Sorry to hear you are back to smoking but you can put that behind you for good. The quit and relapse cycle is hell. Keep your quit and you will not have to go through this again. Life as a nonsmoker is worth any early struggles you may have in your quit.
  5. NOPE - Not One Puff Ever Please pledge to not smoke, even if just for today. Smoking sucks. Life without smoking is freedom.
  6. Welcome back. It is time to give up all tobacco and nicotine. I'm sure you can do this.
  7. NOPE!
  8. Welcome to the site, Phoebe. Sorry to hear about your relapse but I'm glad you are quitting again. Stick around, there is a lot of support and knowledge you can gain here to make this your forever quit. It is good to have you here.
  9. I used to have smoking dreams quite frequently, even after several years of being quit. I don't remember any lately though. I don't recall those dreams now but I do remember waking up from several, laying in bed, and trying to figure out if I threw away my quit or if it was just a dream. It is a relief when I figure out it was just a dream but they can be scary.
  10. Congratulations on 4 years smoke free, @beazel Awesome job!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
