  1. I rode in today is 35 degree weather, froze my butt and was spitting ice cubes! Hopefully ride home will be better!
  2. Will she do 2 up with you? If she does then there is still hope.
  3. Very nice set of bikes Sarge! If you got your wife to ride too, that is also very nice! There is hope for you yet!
  4. Juan, Glad to see you are cooled down, relaxed and ready to get back to the business at hand, your quit. Stuff happens and all we can do is regroup and start over because is not the end of the world by no means. Best of luck to you and so lets start off just one day at a time, before you know it you will be past where you were last time in no time!
  5. This is very funny guys but i'm hank marving and going to sort out something to eat at mums!
  6. Someone had to do it, so why not me! B) 2007 Honda Shadow 1100vt This spring sucks for riding but the weather looks to be finely breaking! I did see a bike out this morning in 25 degree weather, wow, little too cold for me! Tomorrow looks to be a better day for a try to ride to work!
  7. The official quit train daily newspaper is now open for business! Anybody can post whatever they would like but please let us know that department you are posting to: news, for sale, horoscopes, love, awards, weather, and so on! The views and opinions expressed by our staff are not necessarily the newspapers view unless you like it! We have a lot of seasoned reporters and a few new whipper snappers too! Thank you!
  8. Marti, its only going to get better too! Never fear moving forward, embrace it and smile! You have a great attitude!
  9. Congratulations on 5 months!!!
  10. I can not stand the smell of cigarette smoke amymore. Anytime I go in to a house where people smoke, it hits me like a brick at the door. Like you said, you can smell it outside just by walking by a group of people smoking So glad we do not smell like that anymore!
  11. Cigarettes are not part of my life period!!!!!!!!! So the answer is none!!
  12. Wow, that was taking the bull by the horns yesterday! Glad you were able to beat the crave and come out on top! I think a lot of us fall and winter quitters are going to face the exact same thing including myself. Keep the aspirin close today especially if you are babysitting lol
  13. You have to be honest with yourself in order to quit smoking. You need to honestly say I will give it a 100% try from your heart! You can not have a secret stash of smokes in a drawer just in case or that extra pack in your glove box or in the garage for an emergency! I threw out 4 full packs plus the pack I was half way done with! I had never did that before on my many many quits in the past! I thought if I saw going to give in this time, I would have to go to the store! Maybe I was finely being honest with myself or just tired of quitting but it worked and that old saying: "Honesty is the best policy" held true for me, And I bet if you are honest with yourself it will work for you! You have nothing to loose and the rest your life to gain!
  14. TPAM has a white tee shirt!
  15. MQ wow, you put my little plastic weights to shame, nice setup!

  19. I was sick and went to Doctor after no smoking for a couple of days due to a sore throat and he said, you have already quit, try to keep it going and I did! Almost 6 months later and never looked back! But it took a honest try, no back up smokes or stash of emergency smokes, just do it attitude!
  20. Both Becky's it would be nice to see both of you join this place, we do not have enough Becky's. You both have nothing to loose but a bad habit and everything to gain plus a few laughs! Becky#1 or Becky#2 The winner is? I got $50.00 on Becky
  21. Sure buddy, You are no different than me or anybody else here, we have all quit many times before. And the fight, hope you kicked some butt to make it worth while to start over!!
  22. Juan, If you want to go to chat let go bro!
  23. Juan, We will not judge you, you will judge yourself. We are here to help you and assist you anyway we can. We are your friends who want nothing more than to help you quit smoking. If you fall off the horse, jump back on again and again until you break him ( the craving that is). Do not feel bad because while you were quit you did not smoke for 7 days and that is better than thousands of other people out there could do!!!!
  24. You and your dad must have been a blast together and i am sure you are making him proud with your sense of humor. You have a solid quit going and i am sure he is smiling down on you with love and pride. But by being a inspiration, and helping others all the time the way you do, , that is making him the most proud a father can be of his daughter! ((( Tracey)))

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
