  1. Congratulations to you both. You sound very positive in your quit.
  2. Absolutely! I'm not going back to smoking and neither are you.
  3. Welcome Nana. I relapsed recently too. There is no excuse but it is easily to do. You are back on the train and we will support you all the way
  4. Welcome to the forum. That's was a lovely introduction post! Well done on your 17 days smoke free.
  5. I'm sorry you have had a fall. But you are back on the train, buckle up for this one. I too would recommend Allen Carr, his book has certainly helped me to get in the right mind set. That and Joel's videos. You have got this @nicotine_free
  6. Congratulations Rajag that is one hell of a quit
  7. Welcome back on the train!
  8. Congratulations on your 6 months smoke free!! @intoxicated yoda “Do or do not. There is no try.” and you are doing it
  9. Good for you for standing firm. I too am surprised that your Dr would say that.
  10. Keep going for it @Kdad the thing that helped me was the realisation that I kept going around in circles. Everytime i smoked i wanted to quit, but everytime i quit that cigarette felt so precious to me. I knew that i had to just plough through whatever came my way. Or i would be stuck in that cycle forever and that was somewhere I didn't want to be. Take it day by day but try to say, im not going to smoke no matter what you throw at me. I hope that helps you in anyway.
  11. Good for you. Its nice when you first realise there have been no thoughts of smoking. Your doing so well
  12. Awesome!!! Congratulations on your 50 days smoke free @Sal and Mrs Sai
  13. Nope Congratulations @NOPEster for your 5 years smoke free!!
  14. Congratulations on your 2 year milestone

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
