  1. Welcome to the forum, hold on a enjoy the ride ;)
  2. congratulations :)
  3. Karen, you may not want to hear this but i struggled for ages, mainly because I couldn't let go of the fact that I was a non-smoker. That constant itch, really drive me mad for awhile. I kept imagine scenarios where I could give myself a reason to smoke. You have gone through the physical side of it, now it's all mental, which can be far worst. Pledge Nope daily, from the moment you wake up, differently while you are struggling and post, post, post before you do anything. Karen take a deep breath a put one foot in front of the other, don't look back with fondness. The past is the past.
  4. Congratulations to you both :)
  5. Happy Birthday :)
  6. Welcome to the forum :)
  7. Happy birthday Jenny :)
  8. Congratulations on your two weeks! Looking good! :)
  9. Yep, total agree with DD on this, it is probably what you don't want to hear. In the grand scheme of things Karen. You have smoked a lot of tobacco, it's been your vice for many years. Just like the rest of us, three weeks isn't enough time to beat this yet. You are nearly out of the worst. Next stop. The roller coaster stage. I reckon you can take.this stage too. If you need to moan, come on here and moan all you like, it better than smoking and it may help solve the issue too ;) Tell you what though, congratulations on your three weeks that is awesome!!!

  19. Week three was a nightmare for me, hated it. You are doing so well. Give yourself time to adapt. It takes awhile.
  20. Nightmare on Elm street!! I have watch it in years. still good :)

  21. The fact that you have relapsed and pretty much quit straight away should tell you, you don't want to smoke. The thoughts are thoughts we all had to ignore. 'i don't want to quit! I will do it another day', 'you won't do this so give up now', 'just one won't hurt', 'once a smoker always a smoker', ' I could get run over by a bus tomorrow' and my personal favourite 'You only live once, so what the hell!'. All junkie thoughts, thoughts to keep you hooked. You are the one in charge, you cannot smoke unless You choice too.
  22. Huge Well done from me. :)
  23. Congratulations Pancakes <p>
  24. I hope the day is kind for you, you can do this!!!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
