  1. Love our Sue :)
  2. Junkie thinking just plain sucks, but the only way to make it go away is to try to ignore it, or tell at it to shut up. Why don't you go out and treat yourself to something nice? Spoil yourself, and try not to worry too much about all the stuff that's happening right now - I know, easier said than done, but possible... You can do this!
  3. Laura... As you said yourself, smoking will not 'fix' any if these things. In fact, it will just add another item to the list if things that make you feel bad - smoking right now will make you feel even worse than you do already. Everybody has a bad day every now and then - even nonsmokers!! What are you doing at the moment?
  4. Seriously though, have you decided what you will do to celebrate, buy yourself something fancy? Go for an expensive meal? ;)
  5. NOPE from me Evelyn :)
  6. Is Neighbours the one with Seth Rogan? It's called Bad Neighbours here, and it's bloody hilarious ;)
  7. It's only bloody one more!!!!!!
  8. DD, I will be interested to hear what you thought of it :)
  9. It does get better Jeffrey - and don't even think that smoking will make you less angry, because we all know that it won't. In the beginning I got angry a lot too, and snapped at a few people - they knew that I had quit smoking and they all understood and forgave me (so they say, lol)... Honestly you are doing great! And if you do want to be angry at something, be angry at cigarettes and big tobacco!!
  10. I think I was too drunk to draw a stuck figure, lol :p
  11. this!
  12. ... and under those stairs?!
  13. So what do you guys have under your stairs if you don't have cupboards...?! Hope you enjoy it - I watch it most years, on or around Halloween ;)
  14. I don't remember drawing it but apparently it is supposed to be WRINKLES And no, nobody guessed it, lol
  15. It's a bit dated now, and very English, but when I was allowed to stay up and watch Ghostwatch when I was 10... I didn't sleep for a week! I was terrified of going near the under stairs cupboard... DD, you might appreciate it. At the time, it was supposed to be completely authentic... it's got Michael Parkinson in it for Pete's sake, lol... And the BBC got inundated with complaints - there has never been anything close to it since. Enjoy ;) http://youtu.be/BHVqzRyaByM
  16. I went to a friends birthday party last night, and got a little drunk... Never going to drink Ouzo again... Anyway, we always play pictionary, and the guys always win. Well, last night my drawing skills were particularly poor... Here is one of my drawings... Can you guess what it is supposed to be?!
  17. Evelyn... I hope that this will help you - http://whyquit.com/joel/Joel_03_22_sleep.html

  21. Nah, his sticks too small ;)
  22. We have a similar thing here and we call it Stoptober :) Evelyn, it sounds like your friend is going to need your help - this is where all your education about quitting is going to be needed - she will be looking up to you, and you can get through this together - I'm so happy for both of you!!!
  23. There's no way that chap is going to steal my thunder!!! Might post a naked picture of me in a few minutes...

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
