Yogi, what can I say... you are such a sweet lady, and never fail to commit to NOPE, which I always look out for because it puts a smile on my face :) I remember when I cyber 'met' you and I liked you immediately :) You are a lovely person, with a great smile, and I am so happy to be celebrating your 1 year with your today! Please, tell us how you are feeling, and what you will be doing for your big day - anything special planned?   8. One thing is for sure - if you were still smoking, it was a guarantee that your breathing would get worse (and worse, and worse)... Now at least you are giving your body a chance to heal itself and make things better... I am sure that it will improve, but it might take time, I'm not sure how long though. I think that Colleen's breathing improved a lot when she quit, but I'm not sure if it's the same thing or not.

  20. Good morning all - NOPE from me!
  21. We got to see a lot today - the cathedral that featured on the BBC earlier is less than a mile from my house, next to the imperial war museum - this area has a very large military presence, so there was a lot going on around here today. Today was a good day to remember.
  22. In the beginning I tried to watch a lot if videos about smoking, and smoking related diseases... That made it easier to tell myself to 'man-up' when I got a crave - what is worse; 3 minutes of mild discomfort every so often, or a (shortened) lifetime of misery from a terminal disease caused by smoking...?! No contest!

    Hi Jess, sorry I'm a little late! I agree that week 3/4 sucked for me, too - I even drove into something in a carpark (which I NEVER do), because I had really bad brain fog... The good news is that after this, it got so much better! Try to remember that tomorrow will be better. I kept telling myself that for a while, and eventually it becomes true :)
