  1. Congratulations Wendy! Please come and tell us how you are feeling! Very happy for you, but would like to see more of you, too. Come celebrate with us, and have a few drinks ;)
  2. Wow Lace, three-quarters of a year today! Way to go you! Really happy to see this, as I know there have been ups and downs on this journey of yours - thank you for sharing with us all :) Congratulations, and have a great day. Eat all the gloopy gingerbread and cookies you like to celebrate ;) See you soon :)
  3. Congratulations Chrys  I am so happy for you - 8 months is a really big milestone, and you should be very proud of yourself indeed :) Will you do anything nice to celebrate today? Or will you just be relaxing with family after yesterday? Whatever you do, I hope you have a lovely day :)
  4. NOPE!
  5. Aww Jen, great to see you :) Very glad to have you back, and looking forward to seeing you rock your quit, too ;) Now, get a ticker, get a profile pic, and start posting and reading like crazy - you can do this!
  6. Very good to see you Tiffany! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family :D
  7. Of course they must have... can't have Turkey without Cranberries!
  8. Aww (((Slovenka)))... I'm sorry to hear this... Way back when, I remember posting about my dreams, and at one point I had a whole week of them, constantly - I was fed up and thought they would never end. I was tired of Nancy getting upset with me in the dreams, lol But it did get better, and I hardly ever have them now - in fact I can't even remember the last time I had one! Even though they sucked (a lot), I feel that it did reinforce my quit, as I really hated the feeling I had when I dream smoked, and didn't want to feel like that in real life (if that makes sense!)
  9. I heard about what happened, but I hadn't seen the news today... I was hopeful that he would pull through... I agree this is so tragic, and I wish his family well in a hard time :(
  10. What?! You don't get Boxing Day?! Yes, Boxing Day is a public holiday. For me it has always been used to see the 'other half' of the family, so a day with my family, and a day with Tasha's - like 2 Christmases ;) A lot of the January sales start on Boxing Day too, but I've never been too interested in shopping that soon after a ridiculously expensive Christmas...! This year we get 4 days because after Boxing Day it is the weekend :)
  11. NOPE
  12. Way to go Stu! You are a shining example of how to handle a quit - you've been great :) Hope you have a great day and do something nice to celebrate!
  13. Happy thanksgiving to my friends across the pond :)
  14. Glad you are OK Wendy - please come and get distracted with us once in a while, we miss you...

  22. Ooh, good choice, I like Clive Barker, probably Cabal being my favourite (although I haven't read too much of his). Favourite author is Richard a Laymon (that guy was twisted, RIP)... Best author of all time. I love so many of his books but probably the Beast House Trilogy :)
  23. Congratulations Aine! So happy for you :) How are you doing?
  24. -10
  25. Colleen, do you think you could pin it again? I always played it more when I could find it quickly :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
