  5. Well done Tiger - hope you are well and enjoying life to the fullest each day. Massive congratulations on your 8 months! Hope you do something nice to celebrate :)
  6. Wow Dentalfloss... 5 whole months today! I am so happy for, and proud of you :) I know we are fast approaching Christmas, but I still think you deserve to treat yourself to something nice to celebrate ;) Have a great day - CONGRATULATIONS!
  7. Good to see you, Dors :) NOPE for me!
  8. I put coloured twinkling, as that's what Mrs Action put on the big tree this year... so it must be right!
  9. I used to LOVE Prisoner... I used to stay up really late and watch it with the volume turned almost to 0 when I was a kid... It was a pretty crappy show, but I think it made me feel 'grown up' when I watched it!
  10. Prisoner, Cell Block H?
  11. Oh no Nat, this is terrible... I thought you were already quit :( It's time to take control of your life back - and you can control if you smoke or not. Remember how good you felt when you were quit before?! You were always so happy and confident! Please, I think you need to spend more time here with us. We will help you. You know I am always here for you - please use that to your advantage! Big hug
  12. Hi Gio, good to see you! Personally for me, this board doesn't give me any craves... It's weird, I can stay here and talk about smoking all day, and that's all it is - words. But, we are all different people, and that's great! I have to be honest though, having a few puffs every now and again... Bad idea. You say it's so you can prove to yourself that you don't need it anymore. What happens when you take those few puffs but it's not enough - you have to smoke a whole cigarette to prove that you don't need it anymore... What comes after that. But hey, it's your quit, and you need to do it your way. Merry Christmas :)
  13. I have heard of it, but no, we do not hide a pickle in the tree... maybe if there were more of us, lol! Hope you have fun with it, anyhow :)
  14. Ahh, OK, I think you are right! Colleens game is far to confusing for me!
  15. Hangovers are the reason I can't really drink wine... Vodka or larger for me :)
  16. Like Tracey said, in the UK we call it Secret Santa... and if you play it with just adults, some of the gifts can be pretty obscene, lol.
  17. Well, do we have a winner?!
  18. LOL, smoking dreams suck!
  19. Congratulations M - hope you check in and see this fella -
  20. You can do it Evelyn! I used to have 2 white sugars in tea and coffee. Now I have either half a brown sugar, or no sugar in coffee instead. I still have to have 1 white sugar in tea, unless it's fruit tea!
  21. You can do it Stu, no problem. you will be a mere slip of a man in no time! You too BAT :)
  22. :)
  23. And a Merry Christmas to you too - meow
  24. Sue's tree and other Christmassy things - love the tree Sue, it's lovely - and a beautiful family, too :) Now all we need is a picture of you in your Xmas jumper!
  25. Stu, love the tree, and Mrs B too :) Lace, marvellous tree my dear!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
