LOL I bet he would have loved that!

On my way home from London, and pass a guy standing outside one if the theatres (whichever one is currently showing Mamma Mia!), he looked like he probably worked there, and was dressed in a smart black suit & tie, shoes etc. except he didn't look as smart as he should have, because he was in the middle of rolling a cigarette with a packet of Golden Virginia (checks spelling twice lol) in his hand. When we got closer he asked 'got a light, mate?' I looked at humans said 'sorry, don't smoke' but he probably thought I was a bit of an a**hole because I think I might have had a small smile in my face when I said it (I love saying that, and I can't help it) lol. He looked thoroughly miserable and didn't say anything else; just waited for someone else to pass so he could ask the same question (presumably) until he got the answer he was looking for and could start his withdrawal over again.

That's right Evelyn, there is only one way to kill the addiction... And you know that is to not smoke! You can do this, but let's take it's day at a time :d

It's great to read this post Rowley. It sounds like you are in a good place to start your new quit, and I think writing this is only going to make it better. Lots of us here for you to support you when times get hard.

I'm really sorry to hear this Rowley (and for my delay in replying). My main piece of advice to you is going to be to stay close to the board. I have seen you post SOSs in the past and then we don't hear from you again until the next time. It looks like this time it was too late :( I have found that interacting with the members here helps reinforce my quit immensely. Are you in a position to spend time online and read and post?! Glad you are quit again too.
