  1. She tried to quit... Not hard enough, apparently. Yes I know that nicotine is addictive, but bloody hell, that's basically self-mutilation!
  2. I really like Border Collies.... He is bloody lovely.... Batman Dog - possibly the greatest name ever given to a dog? Please do tell us what the insurance people or the vets say when you tell them the name when you register him :d Very nice that he came all the way from Bosnia too... So kind of you!
  3. I can't imagine a situation right now where I think smoking would help me... My wife wouldn't pick up a cigarette if she was stressed, so why would I? I'm a non-smoker after all :good:
  4. Yes, 9 days in is difficult... But don't buy any cigarettes on the way to work, and you've already removed the possibility of smoking at work today. Just take it a day at a time. Get through today and see how you feel tomorrow. NOPE!

  17. Playing with fire... Not a great idea! But if you feel it helped you, then OK. Just so long as your next post doesn't say you smoked it...! A cigarette is a inatimate object, which only has the power you give it... It can't FORCE you to smoke it, only you can make that decision - make the right one. You can do this!
  18. Good idea - soon you will be rich! Having that extra money makes a real difference, and you will wonder how you ever could afford to smoke to begin with!
  19. Good for you Michelle :) Nothing bad is going to happen to you if you don't smoke - smoking will not make you feel better in any way, no matter how much you tell yourself it will. Trust us on this point! Keep going!
  20. Your body is healing itself already :) And your food intake will start to normalise after a while - your body is probably all over the place at the moment!
  21. Try not to worry about the weight right now - you need to save all your energy for the quit :)
