  1. Hi, My husband started smoking at the age of 16, and still continues. All his friends smokes, and that makes it harder for him to quit. His smoking hasn't bothered me much. However recently, things changed. He was taken to the emergency care due to intense pain, and turned out, he had Indirect Inguinal Hernia. The doctors said that smoking is one of the factors that triggered it. They also told him that, he might get it again, if he doesn't quit smoking. I don't think he took it very seriously. I feel very worried about him and want to do something to help him quit. How do I get him to quit? Is there anything that I can do?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
