interesting adaptation Bakon. In current day trends the age for learning to tie shoes has approximately doubled due to velcro and slip on shoes being the norm. Often children aren't learning to tie shoes until well into elementary school. my question is....what are people learning instead of these things?

after my choice to smoke in January, 2 days before my birthday, I am shaken and wary.... scared and feeling like it's only a matter of time before I choose to pick up again. meh. aligning beliefs with life I choose to live seems the pertinent thing to do.... my very inner core is reluctant to hope. NOPE, nope, nope thanks for having this site and community.

Hello and Welcome Aboard Morgan, I am excited you're here, too. An additional thought/idea/suggestion, since you are very aware of the pattern for your smoking, .... PLAN and REHEARSE for the next time your brain indicates NEED one right now. One way to do that is to go to the S.O.S. forum and prepost a response to your own S.O.S.. There's a thread for it there. I will be revisiting this option my self soon as I an only recently reseated on the QT. I gave up a 6 month quit .... AND I am 5 days quit today. NOPE, just for today. and again tomorrow. Looking forward to getting to know you, too. o yeah, let me add to the voices saying :read: :read: the things on this site. educate yourself and guard your quit ...we'll help.

What I think is... YOU'VE GOT THIS. You know yourself better than anyone else and what will work for you. Breathe and post. The icky angry feelings are normal withdrawal responses. they will pass as the drug leaves your body. learning new ways to BE FREE will follow. Just don't smoke. NOPE.

Yes, I have cleared the environments of those pesky items. As par for my previous standard course ... it is my feelings that I try to cope with via smoking. Ahh, yes the lies I've clouded my Self with. New course charted and sailing along..... much chop in places, hopefully with more true vision and hope. All my feelings are here for a reason.... noticing what they are alerting me to and addressing those concerns directly.
