  10. For me breakfast is a protein shake - I add some frozen berries and half a banana plus some chia seeds - and it keeps me full until lunchtime. I do gluten free - so lunch is usually a salad or sushi. Re fish - I love salmon and tuna plus lots of yummy local varieties- and my biggest rule of thumb - I don't eat food unless it is local ... No food should have more frequent flyer points than I have !

  20. I always think 2 is the way to go- particularly if you are out at work etc during the day - that way they get to play together, entertain each other, destroy the furniture and curtains together ... I mean destroying things is no fun if you don't have company !! Seriously tho - go for two - I love the way my 2 get on !- and a lonely cat will get bored and really will destroy things !

  25. You can never post too much- that is what this board is for - and it certainly isn't annoying. Distraction was key for me - so I basically lived at the gym - as it was a place I never smoked. I also consoled myself with a ton of licorice - so I think they kind of balanced themselves out

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
