  2. Went to the gym and came home to Beef stirfry with Konjac noodles ... Courtesy of hubby .... yummy !!
  3. Rested the last couple of days but back to it again today - cardio and weights, then kick boxing

  9. Hey Delta - good to see ya ! I think it is normal - I still get thoughts od smoking - the difference now is that it is easy to acknowledge the thought and move on .... Something I never thought I would hear myself say early in my quit !! :-)

    Late as always - and you have already received great advice - so I will just say I hope you are feeling better and reiterate we are here for support if you need it .... Oh and sorry I can't comment on the side effects of chanting .. You will need to talk o Marti re that :-)
  11. Black vinegar is a Chinese vinegar - probably best described as like a lighter version of balsamic ? Today we did our weekly visit to the farmers market ... Found some wonderful marinated Moroccan chicken - served it up with eggplant and tomato lentils .... Tasted better than it looks :-)

  15. Sounds like you are doing great - I haven't tried Insanity but I can say my non smoking lungs - love being pushed really hard in any form of worthy a and cardio

Starting to warm up here - so marinated chicken in garlic and a special chilli sauce from my local Indian restaurant (?gotta love when they give ya the special,chillin!) - served it with a salad with black vinegar and a glass ( or 4 ) of wine ! Oh and hubby finished off the last 1/3 that I couldn't do !
  17. Too funny - was flicking through the board saw the Diablo comment and thought you were having a hard time - jumped in and found out you were talking about video games ! Games are a perfect distraction - as I am told is the chicks and sticks game .... Would suggest you check it out :-)
  18. Not going to comment on the weight gain ... Just keep reminding myself how much fitter I am ! .. And Colleen yoinwill get back to it ... You just need to concentrate on getting better !! Yesterday a double session with my trainer - kickboxing, cardio and weights
  19. 25 celsius here- I think that is about 75 Fahrenheit- and starting to warm up .....yay .... I love summer

  24. basketball tonight - no girl subs - so did quite a bit of running !
  25. Hi Gerri - yep the first few days can suck - but you are now nicotine free and as long as you don't smoke - you never have to go through that withdrawal again. I am sure your family will understand (although sometimes I am amazed I still have a husband after my first few weeks !) and I am also sure they will be super proud of the non smoking you - but in the interim remember we are here if you need to vent,scream, curse etc!
