N.O.P.E!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOPE NOPE NOPE and HAPPY AI day to all in the US of A!!! (that's America, not Australia :D ) For us, it's just another Saturday! but for ME it's an official "3 weeks holiday"..... :angel: )

It HAS to be the mental addiction at this stage, surely? I STILL crave!??? what's with that?? I'm pathetic!! GOOD FOR YOU, MICHELLE!!! it's almost been a MONTH!!! hang on.... your "quit date" says April 20th? but the pic says 27 days?? I'm confused... also, how CHEAP are smokes in the US!! if those figures are accurate, that works out to $3.50 a day!!?? I also smoked a pack every other day, but 25 in each... give/take, and was costing me $12.50 a day!!! That's CRAZY! I can see why it's so difficult for y'all in the US!

Teary, that's a great post!!! LURVE the expression "the flip and the flop"! I'm the same, but, after my big quit, I never smoked INside, or IN the car, or anywhere enclosed actually... just on my balcony.. PRIOR to my that, I'd smoke IN the shower!!! Yes! sounds absurd! it was! So, I HEAR YOU!!! I'm dreading my friend coming, she's a 60+ a day smoker, :help: and sits outside CONTINUOUSLY! My advice is not to allow anyone to smoke inside your car, (nothing you can do about theirs) or your home!!! Paid for my car battery yesterday, so there's the "flip"... :P

OMG!!! how uncanny is that!???? Just YESTERDAY on the way home, heard "I don't believe you" (for the 1st time!! can you believe that???) and LURVED it so much have been humming it!!! PLUS (while on youtube) checked out Megan Trainor's new 'album' Title, and also LURVE "Dear Future Husband"!!!!! OMG!! THAT is some coincidence, Bakon!!!

..........yesterday, my car battery died.. well.... as long as my car was started and run daily, or every other day at the worst, it would JUST hold a charge... Given it was 4.5 years old, I wasn't disappointed, BUT as today is P day, informed the mechanic that he'd have to come back today, to which he offered a 10 day account!!!! So, not only did I get my battery yesterday, but the BEST part is that today, I can actually PAY for it!!!!! and still have money left over!!!! As a smoker, my fortnightly 'cigi money' was MORE than the cost of a new battery, ($160) so it's put EVERYTHING in better perspective for me!!! (My pension is $898 p/ft) NO MORE STRUGGLING and going without the bare NECESSITIES of life, just to feel ashamed and angry with myself!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!

NANCY!! this is VERY interesting!!! Got my 'Vista girl' up and running yesterday, so back to Vista, (obviously) an older (but better IMO) lappy, specs fairly similar, but using FF! Cannot STAND IE but FF keeps "upsetting" Norton on the 'New 8.1' so IE it is! Having said that, the other IT forum which looks identical, quotes without a hitch!???? Sorry.... not "hijacking"... just wanted to comment...

South Australia... capital city, Adelaide, but live to the west of the city, in a little place called Glenelg (North) on the 'island'... sandwiched between the beach and the Patawalonga Lake! and atm it's 3C here!! yikes!!!

I can't believe how much spare? time I have... and how much more RELAXED I am, for all the reasons in the above posts! No more "sneaking" is the BEST thing about it for me... since my 1st quit in 2005, hardly any of my family knew I smoked.... it was awful!!! I'll 'crave' forever though, on and off... how can I not?? it's been a HUGE part of my life, so it's not just going to vanish.... KNOWING that, makes the resolve easier!!!! MUCH easier! NOPE!!! lol :P
