Isn't it strange how overweight smokers believe cigis stop them eating!???

SS, I've always loved the smell of pipe tobacco... don't care for cigi smoke though.. eeeek!!! When I come out of a shopping centre, I feel the need to pinch my nose, sometimes.. other times, I feel like a puff!!! LOL!! 13 weeks yesterday, for me! (only know cos it's on my financial diary lol)

The US sell the cheapest cigis anywhere! (other than some Arab countries) No wonder they have trouble quitting!!! Overheard the other day, my brand, Alpine Supreme (nearly forgot then!!!!!) is not $28 per 25... that's MORE than a $1 a smoke!! JEEPERS!!! So those monitors at the end of posts probably need updating... I'm keeping an eye on mine, (we have a yearly rise here in Oz till...?) which will add to my pleasure!!!!! What used to cost me $175 per fortnight, would now cost $196!!!! and that's if my friend and I didn't have a 'bash'!!! Or I was 'upset' with something or someone... or felt "lonely".. or all the other excuses I used, to justify the ridiculousness of burning money, and being totally broke all the time... I'm still broke, but have CHOSEN to spend my money on items that LAST!!!! The 1st time I quit, they were $11 and was costing $154 per fortnight but I was working then..., but I was smoking 2 packs a day almost... IN the car, IN the apartment, IN the shower!! (yes, IN THE SHOWER) the only place I never smoked was bed.... I must have smelled AWFULLY disgusting!!!! My kids used to TELL me but I'd ignore it.... That's how I KNOW I didn't smell as they'd always comment on my perfume, if I'd just showered... other wise, never! So my quit this time, (the LAST time) has been totally 'alone'... no one to 'boast' to... other than my neighbour downstairs.... but I can't even boast to my friend.. as she's still a smoker and HATES hearing about it!!! haven't seen her since I quit! Wish I hadn't told her now... but anyway.....C'est la vie!

Hey Julie! xox I'm new(ish) here but lovely to 'meet' you!! Know what you mean... some days I'm off doing something or get sidetracked before I've posted and wham! the day is gone! I've been a member of a UK forum for years... so after my 'dose' of socialising, I'm away! lol! Sometimes, I don't even have time for that... Thank God for FB messenger!!! oh.. and THIS forum!! ;) HATE FB but LURVE the PM via messenger! ( I'm a lurker only just to see what my kids, grandies and greaties get up to!)

I knew them EACH AND EVERY time I lit up! ha!! I will say, however, that knowing I have a choice, but CHOOSE NOT TO SMOKE, is sheer euphoria!! Looking forward to reading your future posts!! xox

The outside of the apartments are being painted here, so left early yesterday to escape the noise/smell, as they did my balcony.. traipsing through MY place to get there, so I left them to it!!! Had my hair cut/shaped, and VERY happy today!!

Today I love................ THIS!!!!... Isn't it WONDERFUL being "able".....
