  1. 2 months is fantastic work Evelyn. Congratulations! Well done.
  2. Hang tough Laura. Rob is right. A crave never kills you. You just breathe and it goes away again. Commit. You need to say it out loud. I quit. I am a non smoker.
  3. 15 months. Nice work. Congratulations
  4. Aha.... The old waiting game eh? Nobody is coming to deliver medals and give you permission to feel good. That's what we are for. :D Marti is absolutely right. You have only gone and done it. You have only quit a filthy horrible addiction. Possibly saved your own lives and a fortune in cash. All of the positive impacts of quitting are building day by day. The first step is to remind yourself. You, through your own efforts, are an ex-smoker now. You are clearly a person capable of anything (we all are). CHOOSE to be happy and give yourself a pat on the back. You are doing a brilliant job.
  5. Happy Birthday! 21 at last!
  6. There is a lunatic policeman... And some interesting flashes of England in the 1920s...
  7. On behalf of the dog. yay! Pain in the ass isn't it Kristin? I used to get really annoyed by these sudden blasts. Then I realised that the addiction ran very very deep and that they were actually signs of the sub conscious working out the wrinkles. The craves are you ridding yourself of ALL of the addiction. They carry on for a while, but they become less intense. Great work posting, great work looking for the signs, great work gritting your teeth. Only the vigilant quit survives.
  8. FORE! Sorry - wrong group. NOPE!
  9. Great work Joe! Congratulations.
  10. Maniac.
  11. Keep fighting Evelyn. It's never complicated. Smoking is bad. Not smoking is good. NOPE. Just for today. You have got this.
  12. What a terrible shock Laura. I hope that the lady and you are both OK. Smoking? Stoopid. But you know that. All done. Just get straight back on with quitting. Eyes front!
  13. There must be some kind of way out of here...said the joker to the thief
  14. It's brilliant. I watched both seasons on flights recently. I now have the hat.....
  15. 3
  16. Ummmmm..... NOPE
  17. Zero! Yay! (For Saz)
  18. I'm not sure, but I think the dreams are a good thing. Forme they indicate that the sub conscious is getting to grips with the issue. I still get them from time to time.
  19. -4
  20. Keep marching!
  21. A little bit of what you like will do you no harm...enjoy your lunch and laugh a lot. Laughing burns calories!
  22. 6 months! Great work.
  23. Congratulations! Good work.
  24. Year of the Fit. Been slacking on the gym myself this week. The dog is getting well walked though. Go for it Tracey!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
