  4. This is a fantastic post, but please remember that it is not a command. Some quitters never go to NML. They simply go from strength to strength. Please remember that however you might be feeling, the chances are that someone has felt that way too. So post. This place works because people share. Say what you feel.
  5. Great work! Congratulations.

  8. Do what you must CPK. I urge you not to get too disconnected. Only the vigilant quit survives.

  10. -8 Upside down. Doesn't negative mean positive down there?
  11. Somebody just call me a tool? Right. outside. I'll fight you twice.......
  12. Strangely, moments ago, I 'fancied' a cigarette. Something in line with number 2. I felt like one, why can't I have one? Fortunately, I have retrained my brain so that quite quickly a a thought comes along that says "given that you don't smoke, why would you fancy a cigarette? Muppet" and the thought is gone. I put it down to programming. Spending many years 'valuing' that first cigarette in the morning, before the rest of the house was up and about...some vestige of that remains. It doesn't bother me any more, it just pops up now and again.

  23. Yep. Like 4 doors. Like sports cars. 4 door sports cars? Not my thing. Goes like a rocket though. Maserati Quattro Porte is another.

  25. See other thread. Not any more. ;-)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
