  3. Sarah, You don't smoke. No problem You don't eat meat. (Completely beyond my carnivorous comprehension) but No problem. You broke up with the ex. No problem You will look great, whatever you wear. (Although definitely include something waterproof) You don't want a cigarette - you are a non-smoker. Go have fun. Show everyone that you choose not to smoke, you choose not to eat meat, you choose to be without the ex - you are in control, you are having fun and you are happy OR - duvet day, listen to the rain and watch some movies :P
  4. I struggled for a couple of days - but then things evened out. I know some people struggle for a bit longer getting everything settled again.

  19. Onefluffyleg! You pulled my buddy Marti out of the fire and then jumped into it? Really? Muppet. No you are not a failure. You screwed up. Mostly you hid from yourself. You did not post SOS because you knew that just as you saved someone, we would have saved you. You didn't want saving. Why not? I think your junkie got the upper hand, but only YOU know for real. I have absolute 100% confidence that you can do this. I have absolute 100% confidence that you want to do this. So, we gonna do this?
  20. Marti. You ever scare me like that again and I will kick your arse from here to eternity. Men are idiots. Trust me, I am one. I know. Booze is dangerous. Careful! I'm off to golf....but don't think you are in the clear yet young lady...... ;) Gutsy. You rock.
  21. I remember them all right! What I get now are not really craves. They are irritants, or possibly reminders which might be a good thing. Dreams, still get the odd one I think, but I'm terrible at remembering dreams.
  22. Hey Aine! Or is it Redser? Glitter gun time? My craves are like that now. Interesting. Not really craves, just 'faint longings'. Progress, progress.
  23. Morning world! Bad day on golf course beats good day anywhere else.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
