  9. Hey Tiff You can do this. You can. I know.
  10. Porky - Gmail will do all the stuff you need - free, and if hardware blows up, doesn't matter. Definitely worth thinking about.

  12. Hey I Can... Bad person. There, that's you told. Don't do it again. It's an addiction - just a few minutes ago, watering my garden, i thought "I'll have a cigarette when I'm finished" Yeah right. ;)

  17. Hey Bday Welcome! Sounds like you have a plan. When all else fails - grit your teeth and just don't smoke. You can do this. ;)

  20. Hey ADD, Welcome! ...I really can't advise on ADD. The symptoms you describe are very similar to what I felt at 'the thought' of quitting. For me, it turned out to be a lot like a sticky plaster. Gently trying to pull it off bit by bit was hard, scary and horrible. The thought of ripping it off was terrifying. Then - I read and understood about nicotine - and when I wasn't watching - I ripped it off. :D To my great surprise, the world continued to turn. I got richer day be day. I smelt better. My teeth and gums improved. I got more sex drive and more sex. I felt liberated, free. It was just such a nightmare... B) As I say - I know nothing of ADD and it would be foolish of me to give advice on that area. Quitting smoking is 99.9% mental. You don't believe me - but its a hell of a lot easier than you imagine. Don't put things in your mouth and set fire to them. That's the only behavourial change that you need to make. ADD - I believe that you can absolutely do this.
  21. 3 Fantastic Years! Well done Captain Nancy. Thank you for everything that you do. Star.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
